Spring Barrel Weekend

Spring celebrated throughout the entire Yakima Valley this weekend. Join the fun in the Rattlesnake Hills as we celebrate our newly release wines! Member wineries will be pouring these newly released wines AND offering special promotions. This is a non-ticketed event, however please be aware of tasting fees at each winery, fees typically range from $5-$15/each. A wine glass may be required (may be purchased at your first stop) and please have ID ready.

Bosma Estate WineryCome join us for Spring Barrel at Bosma! Bring your own glass or purchase one of our logo glasses. Saturday, April 27th we will have:  2023 Carmenere Barrel Tastings, The Little Traveling Bookstore, Wine Flights, Artisan Vendors, Charcuterie Boards and more!  Hours: Friday and Saturday 11:00am-5:00pm, and Sunday from 1:00pm-5:00pm, contact 509.829.3332.

Dineen Vineyards:   Enjoy the expansive views over our vines, the valley and Mt. Adams and Rainier with live music by Shawn Loomis from 2pm – 5pm on Saturday!  Meet the winemaker, visit with the owner and enjoy wines from barrel to bottle.  We will have ALL of our current release wines open and available to try! Hyatt Vineyards:  Join us for our annual Spring Barrel wine tasting event. Treat yourself to our array of Premium Estate Wines while enjoying live music by XYZ and the Boomers at 1pm on April 27th! Enjoy at seat in our spacious lawn area, where you can admire the scenic view of the Yakima Valley. Feeling hungry? We have you covered with savory BBQ and tasty sides from Kim’s Got Smoke! Paradisos del Sol and Organic Vineyard:  The renowned Lupe, Reyna de la Cocina of Lupe’s Kitchen Catering in Toppenish, will have her fabulous street tacos and tamales available on Saturday the 29th in person and we will have the tamales sans Lupe the rest of the days as well as a plate with tiny morsels to explore. After the micro-mini seminar, we offer a micro-mini-10-course winemaker tasting, 10 teensy tiny bites of food to go with our 10 different wines. Sip, Sip, Bite, Sip! We know it is hard to choose which wineries to visit, so we hope you come to visit us. Our $15 tasting fee is applied towards a purchase of at least $30. 20% of every tasting fee paid is donated to Yakima Humane Society. Roza Estates (Silver Lake): We will be offering barrel samples of our 2020 Roza Hills Estate Black Magic our 2020 Roza Hills Estate Cabernet Sauvignon. As a bonus, we will also be sampling our 9 year old Vitis Brandy directly from barrel. As usual, we will also be offering our great brick-oven pizzas.  An added feature this year is a winemaker dinner on our deck overlooking the Yakima Valley featuring the Fat Pastor on April 27th starting at 5pm along with our winemaker Bill Ammons. A five course meal each paired with our great wines will be offered for a price of $100 plus tax/gratuity. Two Mounatin Winery:  You heard it here first- this year, we’re taking it back to the way it used to be- with barrels and bars and back rooms!  OGs know it’s BYOG (but we got you covered if you don’t!)  Omars Buen Taco on Saturday, “Inside the Barrel” educational workshops on Saturday or Sunday, BROS Collection release and special reserve tasting with the Bros Rawn on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.  Come kick it at the wine farm April 26-28. VanArnam Vineyards:  Spring Barrel Tasting Weekend, April 26th – 28th. Come on out to wine country for some barrel tasting with the owner and winemaker. Saturday, 3pm – 5pm, we will have guitarist/singer VaughtRock jamming in our courtyard while you hang out. Our Tin Roof Grill will have sandwiches for purchase.
